I try to keep in touch with all my former students and everybody else I got to know while I were in Florida at HAI (Feb. 2003-Mar. 2005). If you are moving on to something else or know any one else who is moving on please let me know! Also if you know some one I should add to the list please email me.

Alan Jenkins (UK). I finished up Alan's IR and did his CPL training. Alan is back in England converting to a JAR license - JUN 06
Anna Marie Skipnes (Norway). Anna Marie is back in Norway - OCT 05
Benny Lindberg (Sweden). Benny did his JAA CPL at HAI. He is now working as an instructor - SEP 05
Bo Iskasen (Denmark) is flying EC155 for DanCopter in Denmark and Nederland - FEB 07
Bo Nielsen (Denmark) is working as a flight instructor for HAI - Jan 07
Brent Frazey (Montana) is flying a R44 some where in the states - JUL 05
Brian Anderson (Montana). I did Brian's IR and CPL training. Brian is back working for HAI after he went back home to Montana to work for Central Helicopters - JAN 07
Brian Prowling (UK). Brian is flying in the Gulf of Mexico/Alaska for ERA - FEB 07
Bryan Maguire (UK). I did Bryan's IR training. Bryan went back to UK to do his JAA FI in 2004 - APR 05
Cassey Kranci (CA). I did one flight with Cassey for his CFII. Cassey is working as an instructor at HAI in Concord and does also fly for the police - Mar 06
Chris Gellene (from FL - I think!). Chris is flying for Texair/Era - OCT 05
Christian Hechmann (Denmark) is flying in Texas - Jan 07
Christine Weber (US). Christine was working at as an instructor at HAI - JUN 05
Corey Greene (Iowa). I did Corey's PPL, R22 transition, IR, CPL and CFII training. Corey has just got hired to fly tours in the Grand Canyon. Well done Corey - FEB 07
Craig Pelkola (US). I did the first part of Craig's PPL training. He went solo on my last working day in FL. Craig started to work in LA and will have to stop flying helicopters for now. He is considering starting to do FW training since he might be able to fly FW in his new job.- APR 05
Damien McKeown (Ireland). Damo is working as an A&P mechanic at HAI - Oct 05
David Coe (UK). David was my last housemate in FL. He is working for Bristow Helicopters flying out of Scatsca - FEB 07
Don MacDonald (Scotland). He left HAI in 2005 and went home to England. He is head of training at Tiger Helicopters They are doing JAA IR's on the A109 (aircraft and simulator). - MAR 07
Ed Welch (US). Ed is now flying an EC120 out of Galveston for ERA in the GOM - FEB 07
Eric Mowry (US). I finished Eric's IR up and did his CPL training as well. Eric has been working for HAI, but has just got a job with PHI starting in May - APR 07
Fergus Machlachen (New Zealand). I flew a few flights with Fergus towards his IR and CFII. Last I heard Fergus got hired by ERA - Oct 05
François Ganswyk (South Africa). Francois is assistant chief pilot at HAI - OCT 05
Frank Nielsen (Denmark). Frank was a student at HAI when I arrived. He is now flying in the Gulf of Mexico for Air Logistics - Feb 06
Franklin Eck (Sweden) is working for Osterman Helicopters in Sweden. - JAN 07
Gary Bryan (Ireland). Gary is flying in Puerto Rico - APR 05
George Bedford (UK). George used to be the Head of Training at HAI but have just retired - DEC 05
Ingemar Dalen (Norway). I did Ingemar's R22 transition and IR. Ingemar finished his CPL and CFI after I left in March. I don't know what he is doing now - OCT 05
Jaira Johnson (CA). Jaira is the one that taught me how to fly. I did my PPL, R22 transition, IR and CPL with her. I have just heard she is working for Florida Fish and Wildlife now - FEB 07
Jens Jehnes (Germany). Jens is the new Chief Pilot at HAI - OCT 05
Jhon Rozo (Columbia). I did Jhon's CFII shortly after we both got hired. Jhon is now working as a flight instructor on the S76 simulator for Flight Safety in KPBI - APR 05
Joel Valentin (Puerto Rico). I did Joel's R22 transition, IR and CPL training. Joel is now working as an instructor for HAI - OCT 05
John Lancster (US) was working for ERA in the GOM. He died in an accident when his helicopter hit the flare stack on approach to a rig in Feb 07 - FEB 07
Jonathan Chabala (Pennsylvania). I did Jon's IR and CPL training. Jon is now ass. chief pilot at HAI - JAN 07
Justin Eastwood (Ohio). Justin and I were in the same IR and CFI ground school. After instructing at Tomlinson Helicopters he is now flying tours for Sundance Helicopters in Las Vegas - APR 05
Jørgen Grande (Norway). Jørgen is back in Norway working on his JAA license - SEP 06
Jørgen Li (Norway). Jørgen is back in Norway working on his JAA license - SEP 06
Kamie Walters (US). Last I heard Kamie is a FO on a S-76 in New York - JAN 07
Keith Janusziewicz (Pennsylvania). I finished Keith's IR up and continued with his CPL training. Keith is now a team leader and stage check pilot at HAI - JAN 07
Kim Petersen (Denmark) is working on his CFII at HAI - JAN 07
Lasse Pedersen (Denmark). Lasse and I started flight training at HAI at the same time. Lasse is doing his JAA IR at Billund AirCenter at the moment - JAN 07
Liss Amdal (Norway). Liss got a job flying tours some where - it could be in the Grand Canyan - APR 05
Ludvig Torsell (Sweden). I did Ludvig's CFII training. Ludvig is working as an instructor at HAI - APR 05
Lyle Nutt (US). I did my CPL stage check with Lyle. He got offered a new job and left HAI a week before I left myself - APR 05
Marcus Hedtke (US). I did Marcus' IR and CPL training. Marcus finished his CFI but I'm not sure if he found a job yet - MAR 05
Marie Gry Hemmersam (Denmark) did her JAA CPL at HAI - she started her CFI in October - OCT 05
Marius Bratlie (Norway). I did a lot of my stage checks with Marius. He won a green card and have been working for Texair/Era flying in GOM since January 2004 - MAY 05
Marius Leine-Wangen (Norway) was a student at HAI at the same time as me. He went up to Chesapeake Bay to fly pipe and power line patrol and to do instruction. He is now flying for DanCopter out of their base in Den Helder, Netherland - JUL 07
Menno van der Werf (Netherland). I started to fly with Menno when he was close to finish up his CPL training. He is now running Vanguard Helicopters in England - DEC 06
Michael Johnson (UK) left HAI in October when his visa expired. He is due to do his JAR IR with Bristow Helicopters in January 2006 - OCT 05
Michael O'Donoghue (Ireland). I heard he left HAI for a job in the Gulf of Mexico - OCT 05
Mike Laurenzi (US). I did Mike's CFII training. Mike is working as an instructor and A&P mechanic at HAI - APR 05
Morten Kleppe (Norway). Morten is doing his JAA IR at Billund AirCenter in Denmark. He will be joining HS (CHC in Norway) in the spring flying the S-92 - JAN 07
Nathan Weber (CO). Nathan and I started our training the same time - we were both flying with Jaira. Nathan is working for Temsco, flying EMS in TX - DEC 06
Nigel Rogers (UK). Nigel is working as an instructor at HAI - APR 05
Petter Atle Walhovd (Norway). Petter is flying in the Gulf of Mexico - OCT 05
Pierre van Veenhuyzen (UK). I did Pierre's IR and CPL training. Don't know what Pierre is doing now - DEC 05
Remco Doeleman (Netherland). He is back in Netherland working on his JAA license - DEC 06
Rich Herron (US). I was mend to do Rich's CFII but I'm not sure we ever went flying because we both were busy. Anyway I signed him off and he passed his checkride. I have just heard ha has left HAI for LSF, Fort Rucker - FEB 07
Roger Dyroy (Norway). I did Rogers CPL and part of his IR training. Roger is back in Norway - don't think he is flying - DEC 06
Ronan Flanagan (Ireland). Ronan is flying for CHC in UK now - AUG 06
Ronnie Natvig (Norway). Ronnie is converting his license to a JAA license - APR 05
Rune Kyndal (Denmark) is flying in Canada - JUN 07
Sebastian Vignoud (France). Sebastian was my second housemate. After his visa expired he went up to Canada were he converted his license. He has been back in France this spring were he has taking the French license. He worked in Canada in 2006 together with Werner Daniel - AUG 06
Simon Dean (Ireland). Simon is working as an instructor at HAI - APR 05
Sondre Hørsdal (Norway). I did Sondre's CFII training just before I left FL. Sondre is working as an instructor at HAI - APR 05
Stephane Hefti (Switzerland). Last I heard Stephane is flying in the GOM but I don't know who for - JAN 07
Stephane Rebeix (France). Stephane is flying out of Aberdeen now - JAN 06
Stig Sande (Norway). I did Stig's CFII training before I left FL. Stig is working as an instructor at HAI - OCT 05
Søren Jørgensen (Denmark) finished his FAA PPL at HAI - MAR 07
Søren Buchtrup (Denmark) has finished his FAA CFII at HAI and is now working for Ocean Helicopters, West Palm Beach - APR 07
Thomas Jørgensen (Denmark) is flying for CHC in England - Jan 07
Werner Daniel (Austria). Daniel was my housemate in a little more than a year. He got hired by Air Orlando and worked as an instructor. He then went back home to Austria when his visa expired in April and took the Austrian license. Most of 2006 he flew in Canada - he went back to Austria just before Christmas and is now doing the Austrian instructors license - APR 07
Øyvind Harestad (Norway). Øyvind went back to Norway to convert to the JAA license - NOV 04
