I got a voucher to Airkix (indoor skydiving center) for my birthday from Lee. So Saturday 16 February 2008 we went up to Airkix at Milton Keyens so I could try indoor skydiving.

First we had some 30 minutes briefing including how to "fly" in the windtunnel. Since it is very noisy due to the wind you communicate with handsignals. I also have a video from it, which I will upload to You Tube and post a link to from here.

First time I am trying to balance in the air without a rotor above my head!

After a bit of instruction in the air it was quite easy to float around

By moving your arms, legs and head you can control how you want to move around

It was great fun to try and hopefully I will be able to try some more times in the future.
