The nature in Florida - Alligators and Hurricanes...
We saw a quite big alligator in the wild...!	Lee reading about the manatees	Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge We drove out to discover the Florida wildlife and were lucky enough to see both an alligator and some manatees in the wild
Hurricane Wilma Caused a few days with out any flying at all!	Hurricane Wilma caused a tornado 10m away	We missed most of the wind - but not the rain

27 March 2005: Last day in Florida

The last day I were in Florida we had excellent weather - light wind and temperature around 80°F/29°C. I spend the whole day at the beach and got sunburned pretty good... It is not bad at all with weather like this in March

25 March 2005: Last day at HAI

My last flight in Florida were with my private student Craig Pelkola. My last flight so far - his first supervised solo. Well done Craig and good luck in the future wherever you decide to finish your license.

Flying south along Florida's east coast all the way to Key West is an excellent trip. We normally fly it with those students that need to do their dual com. cross country requirements. It's easy to navigate - but requires quite a bit of radio work to fly in the Miami area. An nice way to spend a weekend.

We had a BBQ at our place in January. Unfortunately I only have these three pictures which I got from Hege. Thanks! It wasn't too warm - only in the 50'ies but compared to a Danish winter the weather was good.

6017 Turtle Beach Lane #3, Cocoa Beach


Cocoa Beach at 500ft flying south bound. We lived just 5 minutes walk north of the Cocoa Beach Pier.	My niece Laerke enjoined to play at the beach. Behind her you can se our apartment.	Cocoa Beach flying north bound. You can see the inlet to Port Canaveral in the top of the picture.

The last four month I were in Florida I lived in Cocoa Beach. I shared a nice apartment with David from England. We had a beautiful view to the Atlantic Ocean from our balcony.
I should have moved down here earlier!
