We were some of the instructors and students from HAI that joint Lee and
Linda out in the woods just west of Sanford for New Year. First time I
have been celebrating the whole New Years eve outdoor with out freezing. |

December 2004: Christmas lights |
|
The Americans are really crazy with Christmas lights. You can see whole
houses like this one just covered in lights. I must admit though that I
like it. Don't get surprised if I have a house looking like one day! |

December 2004: Corey's CFII |
|
After Corey was done with his CFI with Francois he asked if I could do
his CFII. I always had fun when I was flying with Corey - so even though
I was quite busy I told him I could do his CFII. But it would be after
my I was done with my other students. We started on his CFII Thursday
evening after I was done for that day. I shortly told him what I wanted
him to present for me from the PTS and what we needed to cover in
flight. On my "day off" the following weekend we got to fly and covered
some of the ground.
We flew three times before he did his checkride. To which Dave
Thompson said: "This is the best CFII ride I've ever done". Well done Corey

October 2004: Flying with Marcus for his CPL |
|

Marcus and I were in a OGE hover at 800 ft in A4 when Jens and David
came around in 827. They flew around us and took these cool pictures
before we returned back to KTIX in formation. |

Marcus were quite low on hrs after his PPL and IR and
needed to flew quite a bit before he had his 150 hrs to his CPL. On this
flight we went out to A4 and practiced some vertical descents and
advanced autos. |
