Helicopter Adventures Inc. was sold to the Bristow Group 1 March
2007. I don't know what this will mean for the students, but as far as I hear
the school will continue as before under the new name: Bristow Academy.

Helicopter Adventures Inc. is the worlds leading civilian helicopter flight school!
Helicopter Adventures is located at:

Titusville, Florida 32780

I decided to do my flight training at HAI in Florida. I did my FAA PPL, IR, CPL, CFI
and CFII there in 2003-2004. HAI is a big flightschool - and it is even bigger now than when I were a
student - but even though it was so big I always felt I was be taking cared of. I am very happy
with all the training I received at HAI (thank you Jaira
).
The school gives you first class instruction in a fleet which is maintained
excellent. All the aircrafts are being maintained to very high standard - which
is higher than those set by the FAA! It is a pleasure to fly these aircrafts.
One thing I am very impressed by is the way the school handles new students. They help you with
everything when you arrive in Orlando/Titusville!
- Pick you up at the airport
- Find a housemate, a place to stay and where to buy cheap furniture
- Book a time for your driving license test
- Where to get your SSN
- Setting up a bank account
- Etc...
If you consider where to do your flight training I can only recommend HAI.
Feel free to drop me an email or give me a
call (+45 2537 7030) if you have any questions about the school or about
the education to become a helicopter pilot. Otherwise send
Samantha (Business Development Manager) an
email and she can help you.
Helicopter Adventures is:
- 141 approved flight school (PPL, IR, CPL add on and CFI)
- Accredited - students can receive a M1 or J1 visa to do their flight
training. An excellent way if you want to stay in the States and get some
experience as instructor. The J1 visa will allow you to work (as instructor
only!) after you are
done with your training.
