If I could chose what kind of training I would do as an instructor, I would
definitely do a lot of CPL students. I like to do 180 autos in +20kts of wind
:-) Most of the students I have done IR training with continued with me for
their CPL. I have finished the following CPL students:
- Alan Jenkins is probably the one that had the highest knowledge
level of my students. Every time we did ground Alan was well prepared and
could explain more or less everything perfect.
- Brian Anderson taught me about piston engines (camshafts,
crankshafts, timing for firing etc.) when we covered the ground for his CPL.
Thank you for all your good explanations

- Corey Greene was my first CPL student. He wanted to do his
training as fast as possible so he could join the following CFI ground
school. So we made a plan so he could finish his CPL fast which he managed
to get through in around month - Corey correct me if I'm wrong!
- Eric Mowry continued to fly with me after I finished his IR up.
- Haitham Bakr did the part 141 com add on program. I got him when he
was half way through the course and finished him up with help from Corey.
- Ingemar Dalen flew to CPL standard when I had to leave FL.
Because he was short of PIC time I never got to sign him of for his
checkride.
- Joel Valentin continued flying with me after his IR so I did his
CPL training as well.
- Jonathan Chabala did his CPL training in the R22. I have done
some of the tightest confined areas ever flying with Jon.
- Keith Januszievic is one of my few students that ever have critiqued
me. Keep telling people if you think they do something wrong.
- Marcus Hedkte was in that good situation that he had
plenty of hours "to burn" to get his
150 hrs total for his CPL. We went out and had a lot of fun to get his hours
up. -Marcus do you remember when we were sitting at 800ft in A4 in 826 and
Jens flew around us?
- Menno van der Werf was in the middle of his CPL training
when his instructor went away for Christmas. We finished his training up
during Christmas and new-year so he could start in the CFI ground school.
- Pierre van Veenhuyzen continued to fly with me after his IR.
- Remco Doeleman are doing some of the best Q-stops I've
seen.
- Roger Dyroy came back to me to finish his CPL.
